Sal Rinella's Bio

I am Sal Rinella, I am both a loving artist and educator and have been for over 25 years. I decided to become an educator so that I could inspire other artists to learn, just as my teachers fostered my love of knowledge. I received the Florida Motion Picture Award for Unproduced Screenplay entitled "Good Friday." I have written, produced and directed in various genres through the years. From Comedy "Austin's Angels" to Horror "Camp Stories" to TV Pilot's "From Geek to Guido". I have appeared along side many celebrities and top known artists for a long time. I strive to be a professional in everything I do. Even when I appear playing in my church's band at a Sunday Service. I enjoy studying and living life to its utmost, this is where I get most of my inspiration directly from. Be it filming projects in Hawaii or going to Los Angeles to write a screenplay, or editing a future writers project from Australia. I am interested in life and all the various tendencies and idiosyncrasies it has.

I have managed and ran Music Stores for 4 years. I have been running 3-8 Productions for close to ten years. Where I help striving artists hit their mark - or as we'd like to say we bring dreams to reality. I live my dream in regards to helping artists get help - or in many cases direct them to where they can change conditions however minuscule they may change.

I teach acting and have taught music. In regards to acting many of my students call me the Actors Guru. I also have produced and promoted various events around Times Square (Saturday Night Showcases, The Boyd Family Holiday Show, Valentine's Art Show) and In Nashville (The John Novello Concert, Writers Night every Wednesday and The Deedee O'Malley Songwriters Seminar).

As well as co-hosting The Open-Mic with Guitarist/Songwriter Gary Costello at The Famed Kenny's Castaways Club in The East Village. At this time I am writing, editing and repping a wide variety of artists and writers as I help them towards their first of many steps in the business.
